unkx80: From the viciousman saga as well as the messages he posed, I suppose we are lacking some kind of a guide on how to use SL. I came to realise this when I was composing a reply to him on his homepage. Although we have pages like wiki etiquette and how to use wiki, it seems like newbies sometimes do not know some of the written and unwritten conventions used on SL. So perhaps a quick guide, made prominent on the front page, would be useful. Or am I missing anything myself?
Bill: Excellent idea!
Jared: Material from SLConventions will also be useful.
I floated this idea of editing guidelines many months back, but I only got around to write it now. Please take a look and discuss. Thanks!

Thad: When it comes to editing things on SL, if I am away for a while, then I forget how to use many of the editting functions. Perhaps we should create a SL CookBook?, with descriptions ( or links to descriptions ) of various editting techniques in some categorised manner.
unkx80: Please see the How To Use Wiki path, I believe it is already a SL Cookbook and has more than enough information you and I need. If you have further questons, please feel free to ask.
