Wine
Keywords: Software
Wine is a system for running MS Windows applications on various POSIX-compliant operating systems, such as Linux, macOS, & BSD.
It can be downloaded from http://winehq.org/ or using your distribution’s equivalent of apt-get install wine.

Compatibility with Go software
Since most Go programs use simple libraries, they tend to work quite well in Wine. For instance, the Fox client works in Wine, although some additional setup is needed for Chinese characters to display correctly. Wine can also run a lot of older software such as go4++.
However some people reported errors when running the Dashn client on Wine in 2006: see the FAQ.
