William Newman
William ("Bill") Newman is a Go player in Dallas, Texas, USA. As of March 2002 he was a weak 3 dan (3.02 rating:-) in the American Go Association. He's also the author of two horribly weak Go programs (wally and plodder) one of which (plodder) is not *intended* to be a horribly weak Go program but still is.
Gorobei: While Bill Newman may be too modest to mention it, he is also the driving force behind Steel Bank Common Lisp, one of the coolest pieces of software on the planet. (I just wish I could get SBCL running on my Play Station 2 Linux system.)
