Wang Qun

(b.1957) Chinese pro, 8 dan in 1986. Also won the 6th World Amateur Go Championship in 1984.

He was a student of Qiu Bairui. His own student is Zi Yang Hu (Hu Ziyang), winner of the 2012 US Open.

He wrote a Chinese book with Yang Jinhua, called 收官指南 (Endgame Guide). It's part of the Master of Go series, which also contains Essential Joseki (which Wang did not author).
