Void

The term void in Go is used specifically:

  • as an adjective to refer to:
    • A void game, a synonym for a game with no result.
  • as a verb to refer to:
    • The agreement of players to consider a game void, as is possible after repetitions in some rule sets.

The word “void” may of course also be used in its common English sense, as in “Both Black and White are void of defects”.
