Bill: The parent page was deleted "because of a ko-ish solution". What's wrong with a ko?
It's a favourable ko but an unglier solution than what I initially thought... I'll try to find a better example in the time I have... Reuven
Well the fact that it's a ko, did help as far as the order of moves is concerned... The reason I didn't post it on gp was originally the order of moves (when i thought it was unconditional) but on the other hand it doesn't really show the tesuji at work... I really don't know...
Bill: I think that positions taken from games do not have to be as artistic as composed problems. In a way, the fact that they are not is part of their charm. :-) They still offer grist for the mill.
I found this position quite interesting, and it would be interesting, also, to see how the actual play went.
