Reviews
Fhayashi: This is the third book of a series put out by Yutopian, the others covering Proverbs and Fuseki. It is basically a joseki dictionary.
It's a book about 4-4 point joseki, naturally. There is also a smaller section on 3-3 point joseki. Each page has 6 diagrams and a short paragraph describing them. It nicely points out important points, and most variations also include what to watch out for. There are a few pages of exposition at the beginning of the two sections.
It's quite extensive, though I've found at least one joseki not covered. It's very nicely laid out, with a nice, graphical content page at the front.
I bought this book accidentally (instead of The Power of the Star Point), but I rather like this book. I can't compare it to other joseki dictionaries, since I do not currently own any.
