Ma Yichao

(马 逸超) Chinese professional player, born in January 1998.

Runner-up in 2014 in the 8th Xinxiu, to Huang Yunsong.

Despite having apparently not reached any finals or done anything much else notable since his Xinxiu appearance, he's been steadily climbing on Go Ratings and will probably soon break into the world top 100: since 2018, he's risen from #162 to #103.
