Forfeit

A game of Go may be forfeited – i.e. a player can lose the game – by making an illegal move or otherwise breaking rules of the game or the regulations of some tournament or organisation.
- To Do: give examples from various rule sets and regulations, and cases from professional and/or amateur games
- On Go Servers, escaping (disconnecting to avoid a loss) may forfeit the game.
In some regulations, a player may only forfeit their turn for certain infractions.
