Dutch player and computer programmer. His software MIGOS? for very small boards has been able to solve 5x5 Go (see SmallBoardGo) for all opening positions. Further, he is the main author for MAGOG, a 9x9 Go program.

His latest program Steenvreter won the 9x9 computer Go tournament at the 2007 Computer Olympiad, ahead of both MoGo and CrazyStone.
