Egeta

(井上恵下田因碩, 1884-1961) Inoue Egeta Inseki, sixteenth head of the Inoue house. His real name was Egeta Senjiro (恵下田仙次郎), artname was Eiho (栄芳). He was promoted to 7 dan in 1916.

His headship was controversial, splitting the Inoue family. After his death, one of the pupils, Tsuda Yoshitaka, got some support and became Inoue Inseki XVII, but wasn't widely recognized.

Takenobu Katsuzo was his pupil.
