Dali Cup

(大理旅游杯世界女子职业围棋锦标赛) International women's tournament held in 2007 in China and then discontinued. Prizes were 100,000 yuan for the winner and 30,000 for the runner-up.

Park Jieun, then 7 dan, won her first international title defeating 2-1 Kim Hyeoimin (she gained promotion to 5 dan). Park gained promotion to 8 dan by winning this tournament.

24 players compete in this knock-out tournament, held from 2006-11-25 to 2006-11-29 (from first round to the semi-finals). Rui Naiwei, Feng Yun, Zhang Xuan, Lu Jia, Kim Hyeoimin, Aoki Kikuyo, Song Ronghui, Yashiro Kumiko were admitted directly to the second round, but Zhang, Aoki and Song lost immediately (to Park Jieun, Cao Youyin and Kim Eunsun respectively).

In the third round Rui beat Feng, Park Jieun beat Lu Jia, Kim Hyeoimin beat Cao and Kim Eunsun beat Yashiro.

In the best of three final match (Yunnan, 2007-07-16 to 19), Kim won the first game B+1.5, then Park won B+R and B+1.5 the remaining games, winning the title.
