Daguoshou tournament

(大国手战) Chinese tournament, named after the classical Chinese title daguoshou bestowed upon the very best player in China.

Two editions were held in 1993 and in 1994 and the winner of both was Ma Xiaochun.

• 1st, 1993: Ma Xiaochun (d. Qian Yuping 2-0)
• 2nd, 1994: Ma Xiaochun (d. Chang Hao 3-2).
