Seok-Bin Cho

Cho Seokbin (趙錫彬) was yeongusaeng in Korea till age 16 when he stopped due to circumstances beyond his control. As a result, he is not a professional go player and is now over the age limit in Korea. Nonetheless, he is very strong. In 2006, he moved to Germany, then Poland, where he taught go and won many go tournaments. As of now (2014) he lives in Nagoya, Japan, where he teaches insei at [ext] a club.

He is the current Amateur-Kisei which is equivalent to the official strongest amateur in Japan. ([1], [2], [6])
