Andrew Grant: The general belief among athletes and spectators is that Barcelona was very good, Sydney was possibly even better but Atlanta was poor enough to damage the USA's chances of getting another Olympics soon. Of course, since the events of Sep. 11, 2001, New York's chances of getting the 2012 games are probably considerably improved.
