From my test area, picture align test (by RueLue)
(Quote from TextFormattingRules:)
... For example: [http://senseis.xmp.net/images/stone-happy-alignright.png]
it seems tricky: preview doesn't show images; and saved it doesn't show pictures either. Instead (in Firefox) it shows the link as text only, impossible to copy('n'paste)! (IE shows broken links)
normal pictures are ok:
jpg align ok (the go board)
jpg normal ok (ice bear)
jpg align not ok (ice bear)
png ok (stone-happy)
png align not ok (stone-happy)
gif ok (gtl)
gif align not ok (gtl)
Best wishes for solution! RueLue
That is sometimes confusing: aligning works only, if there is actually a picture with "-alignright" in the name. If there is no picture of this name, your browser shows a "broken link"-icon (or, in Firefox, the file name). -- RueLue
See the Picture Template, which solves this problem using the trick of adding ?alignright.jpg to the end of the URL (after the ? are HTTP query parameters, which will normally be ignored for pictures, but work for SL)
