RueLue: while editing a KGS wishlist I find it impossible to edit sections behind #100 separately: try
KGSWishlist/GeneralUI§ion=101 (it's Buddy list: show "Last On" date)
odd bug. i recognized it right now as well.
+ i want to remind that when editing a !== heading all sub-headings with !=== or !==== (and the same for 2nd level headings with !=== towards !==== sub-headings) should be editable as well. without this function you effectively always have to edit the whole page. for all people editing on the very long pages this is rather painful. (e.g. article of the week pages, where the subheading is in the middle of a table and you can not modify the table anymore)
RueLue: As I could see, there are more pages, where this is a problem: I just saw a remark on the GreatMomentsInKGSChat page mentioning the effect. I presume, there are also some pages outside the KGS empire, where this problem arises. It would be nice, if Arno would spend "some minutes" correcting this. And your idea has my thumbs-up!
I posted both bugs on the librarian mailing list. Arno has his eyes on it.
Btw. KGSWishlist/Social hit another size limit for reviving pages earlier... obviously nobody thought that such long pages will ever happen. :)
there was an arbitrary limit of 100 headings for this function (to protect of endless loops or denial of service attacks.) New limit is 200 headings.
Maybe the page should be split? :o)
