FireclawDrake's question made me think that this page (and possibly others in the Endgame Tesuji series, too) would really profit from a thermograph.
Feel free to add these :)
In most of these tesuji diagrams the underlying intention is to teach a technique / tesuji without bothering too much about the details of endgame counting, because that may end in explaining the easy by the complicated. While I see why it would help here, I am not sure how useful this would be on most other endgame tesuji pages. (The benefit of the tesuji seems to be pretty evident on most of them.)
Well, I'm not really familiar with creating thermographs. I've seen the examples here on SL, and since they seem like an ideal tool for understanding that sort of problem, I was hoping to see them employed more often, so I could get a feel for them. However, this might be a learning opportunity for me. If anyone reading this is up to the role of a patient teacher, I would be happy to give it a try and learn from it.
