Since the theme has been dealt with already at bent four in the corner or is otherwise misrepresented, I suggest to make this a subpage of the author's home page. As an independent chapter linked from "ko for beginners" it is misleading.

I do like the term "waiting ko" but on the other hand the 10000 year ko also has a "waiting element" in it, for other reasons.
