Utwig is one of those prodigy players one loves to hate, having gone from 30k to 2d in about a year's time. He got stuck at 3d for a while but finally reached 4d in September 2003. Favored by tartrate, Utwig is quite generous in providing game reviews, which include sensible and clear explanations peppered with charming honesty; in a recent review of a game of mine, he claimed "this move is nuts, but I don't know why."
