The Road to Understanding Japanese Volume Two

The Road to Understanding Japanese Volume Two is an ebook available not only as a SmartGo Go Book for Apple iOS and macOS devices, but also as an ePub for reader apps on other platforms such as Android and Windows. I have no plans to offer a paper version.

This book is aimed at readers who have either worked through Just Enough Japanese Volume 3 or have otherwise achieved a good grasp of the basics of Japanese grammar. It presents my recent studies and explains topics that can be hard to look up and understand. If you are stuck at the intermediate level, it should help you to break through to greater understanding and enjoyment.

As shown in the free sample, study items are presented first as go problems that you can try to solve first or just move straight on to the Japanese text. The study item is presented in a single sentence. The following pages discuss the study item, provide the context, and give more examples.
