Step by Step Weiqi Classroom

Step by Step Weiqi Classroom (阶梯围棋教室), by Huang Xiwen 6p editor (主编) and Nie Weiping 9p honorary editor (名誉主编), consists of 4 textbooks (阶梯围棋教室), 4 problem books (阶梯围棋星级题库) and a set of 7 skills test books (阶梯围棋综合棋力测试) published by Liaoning Science and Technology Publishing House 辽宁科学技术出版社. Publication began in 2002 with the four textbooks. The next year (2003), the problem books were published. The Skill test books followed in 2005.

The levels described for the books are not quite accurate. The first book may be useful even for stronger dan players, and many sections in the other books are interesting also for single digit kyu players.
