Oh Chi Min
Oh Chi-Min is an 8-dan EGF player and a DPhil student in Anthropology at the University of Oxford. His research focuses on the transformative impact of AI on the Go community, particularly after AlphaGo's 2016 victory over Lee Se-dol. He has extensive experience in the international Go community, where he has taught and won tournaments across Europe, particularly during his time in Berlin (2008-2009). Chi-Min has published multiple academic papers on AI-assisted Go education and is currently exploring the intersection of AI, digital anthropology, and posthumanism.
Chi-Min's professional background includes his role as a Go teacher at Yunguseng Dojang ( http://yunguseng.com), and his work with the Korea Baduk Association (KBA), where he coordinated international events such as the Korea Prime Minister Cup (KPMC). He has also worked as a research associate at Seoul National University of the University of Tokyo and finance director at the International Society of Go Studies (ISGS), furthering his expertise in Go-related research and education.
