Dan: I think I know what solution you are looking for, but I think that firstly, you could have hundreds of previous captures if necessary with a ko; and secondly, even without any kos you can get to 20 captures... wait, make that 26...

unkx80: The number is arbitary. Heh.

Dan: Yeah, I just realized lying in bed last night that you can get it as high as you like, even without ko. Maybe this sort of problem needs more constraints to work.
