While the eye space after capture looks rather different from the other 17 and 18 stone capture constructions at largest capture that still can't live, this problem share a similar structure: the eye space can be broken down into two parts, where it is impossible to make even one eye in one of the parts and the other part gives only one eye. Interestingly, this problem isn't very trivial.

Obviously, to capture all White stones, Black must start with B1. W2 captures 18 stones...

The placement of B3 makes W4 and B5 miai, thereby denying White an eye on the upper edge. We shall see that despite W6, White has only one eye in the center.

If W8 connects, then B9 kills. W10 and B11 are miai, and after B11 a and b are miai as well.

Making an eye at W8 here reverts to the previous variation.
