Dave: The idea of a numerical scale of 0 to +/- 10 that has a different meaning than the estimated score of the game (see below) seems confusing to me. Wouldn't it be better to just state the estimated score?

The answer to the each question should include a numerical judgement based on the following scale.

  1. 10 Black ahead, White needs to play all sorts of hamete ( or better resign )
  2. 7 Black ahead. W needs to work hard and hope for a mistake on Blacks part. ( A big group that dies wouldn't hurt. )
  3. 5 Black ahead enough that he should play conservative moves, but not enough to play passive moves.
  4. 0 Dead even

The same scale is used when White ia ahead but with negative numbers.
