Nihon Ki-in new tournament system

According to Go World issue 97, tournaments in Japan (all of the pro tournaments?) will have preliminary sections divided into three qualifying stages, with game fees (prize money?) standardized according to section reached.

This presumably interacts with the use of prize money totals in the Nihon Ki-in new promotion system - under the old system game fees depended on a player's rank.
