New In Go

New In Go is a series of articles from the creators of GoGoD, John Fairbairn and T. Mark Hall. It is now available as part of the GoGoD download from http://gogodonline.co.uk/.

It is mainly a collection of novelties the GoGoD CD compilers, John Fairbairn and T. Mark Hall, have found as they add games to the database. Accordingly it concentrates on new moves, usually in josekis but also fuseki moves. Comments based on both database searches and magazine articles are added. Obviously there will always be more information on the CD, but each article is complete in itself.

Occasionally other articles are added, such as a tribute to Kato Masao and discovery of komi games almost a century prior to those previously known.

The series is updated as and when novelties are found - maybe a couple of times a month on average.
