Miyasaka Shinji

(宮坂宷二, 1888-1949) Nihon Ki-in pro, 6 dan in 1925.

Pupil and expected successor to Shusai, instead Shusai granted the Honinbo to the Nihon Ki-in.

He defeated Kitani Minoru in the 1934 Japan Promotion Tournament?.

He spent the war years in Manchuria and totally abandoned Go after the war.

Mimuro Mitsuhiro was his pupil.
