Mixed Strategy

Mixed strategies are an idea from game theory not applicable to Go, in which the players determine their next move having perfect information about its result.

Mixed strategies arise in F-Go, where players move simultaneously.

A player who assigns a probability to two or more candidate moves, then rolls a die to determine which move to choose, is playing a mixed strategy.
