Large Knights Extension From Third Line

This situation arose in a recent game of mine. It appears that it can’t be cut. I think it only works when extending from a living group and when your opponent's surrounding stones do not overhang or surround your group from the side. If this move already has a page, please let me know.

HolIgor: There are situations where this is good for black, certainly. But, black is not short of other good continuations like hane, nobi or one or two space jumps on the third line depending on the surroundings.
