The Etland (Electron Land) Cup is an obsoleted Korean tournament (sponsored by Etland) with 4 preliminary rounds. The final stage of the tournament used a 32-player knockout format. The players reaching the semifinal were seeded into the next year's tournament. 8 players qualified for the final stage in each of the first 3 preliminary rounds, and the remaining 4 qualify in the 4th preliminary round.
