Just Enough Japanese Volume One
Just Enough Japanese Volume One is a SmartGo Book that helps you understand Go material written in Japanese. It provides a gentle introduction to reading go material written in Japanese, such as printed books and online web pages of both go problems and game records. It starts at the complete beginner level, for people with no knowledge at all of Japanese. Readers who already have some knowledge can either treat the early sections as review, or skip ahead to the chapter summary. Hopefully, it will encourage readers to delve deeper into the Japanese language, and continue studying by themselves. The content is based on the author's page here on SL, Basic Japanese for Reading Go Books, but it covers more ground and includes go problems, game records, and go books as examples and for practice.
