Joorin
I'm a happy amateur that discovered go in April 2002. After getting beaten to a pulp by GNUGo for a week I said to myself that this was nothing for me.
In September 2002 I signed up for my first tournament and practiced for three weeks at the go club at the university in Linköping, Sweden. I got two out of five points and didn't end up last. ;P~
Now I have a goban, stones, books and a KGS account and I try to play at the club one day per week when I'm not too tired from working all week. All of my online games are played on KGS and I've ended up around 4k there. If I ever get around to play more games that might change for the better...
I played as 3k in my last tournament and got four out of six points. This was my best tournament result ever. Yay me. It really feels as if I've managed to move to the upper half of the score board.
My real name is Peter Flystam and I can be reached with email at joorin (at) lysator (dot) liu (dot) se and someone added my real name here in the edit before this one. This confuses me a bit since I didn't write it myself but who am I to have ideas about my own info.
