Heisen Go
HeisenGo
HeisenGo is a variant in which elements of uncertainty are introduced. It is available on Basilisk Go Server.
-
- random sequence of turns
- (turns between zero and 100% random)
- inaccurate placement of stones
- (e.g. stone placement between zero and 100% inaccurate)
- random sequence of turns
This has a substantial effect on the value of many moves. Compared to vanilla Go, it is worth considering the odds of gaining additional moves, and the value of a series of uncertain length.
With inaccurate placement, one could calculate the average value of all possible results.
tderz: Its name seems to stem from Werner Heisenberg's Unschärferelation ( Heisenberg uncertainty principle):
- (quantum mechanics) The principle that there is an absolute limit on the combined accuracy of certain pairs of simultaneous, related measurements, especially that of the position and momentum of a particle (abbrev.: Go)
h = 6,6261 · 10 -34 das Plancksche Wirkungsquantum und
pi (π) die Kreiszahl (3.14159265358979323846 ....) ist.:
