Hello,and welcome to my study log.

I have decided to divide this page in to sections on the opening, middle game, and endgame.

I just made this log. A week or so ago started experementing with different openings(on KGS mainly). Look in happy53's user info on KGS for a chart of the openings I am working on.

Similar to my opening entry, I have kept a tally of score estimates(see KGS user happy53's info).

And again, similar to my middle game entry, I am keeping a tally of score estimates and moves of which I have determined the value(see KGS user happy53's info). I only have 1 score estimate tally(not one for the middle game and a separate one for the endgame).

I have been reviewing my own games, and it helps me enormously! I played a 1k even(no komi) and lost by 9.5.

I have stopped doing the things I mentioned above.

I have been studying the games of Go Seigen(I am on about his hundredth game). They are really interesting, and I think they are helping me improve.

I played a 5 stone game(me black). I played solidly, preparing to attack white's weaknesses. I won. I will experiment with this more. I could be on to something...
