Anonymous: How can white kill unconditionally if black plays here now? I see a ko.

 

jms: I don't see the ko. W can play in response to and B is unconditionally dead. Following the sequence up to , then 'a' and 'b' are maiai. If @ , then @ has the same result. If @ 'a' instead, then @ does the trick.
