Fu Ling Yu

Fu Ling Yu, born 1-4-2001, is a young female Chinese prodigy. At the age of six she has beaten a Japanese pro, Joku Anoda, visiting a Wei Q'i school in Nang-King in January 2008. The pro was so embarrassed by the defeat that arrangements have been made not to disclose the astonishing feat. However, at her 7th birthday, the girl's parents decided to reveal Fu's amazing victory, in order to raise the interest of foreign scouts.

Fu's father, a local fishmonger, makes no secret of the Fu's hopes of making a more luxurious living through Ling Yu's extraordinary talents.

Her parents also revealed that by the age of 5, she was able to solve the entire Guanzi Pu collection.
