Fu Li
Fu Li (傅利, b. 1974) Chinese amateur 8-dan, and former professional. In 1987, he became a 1-dan professional. In 1988, he joined the National Go Team. In 1993, he departed the National Go Team as a 4-dan professional. Pursuing a different line of work, he graduated from the Computer Accounting Department of Hainan University, China in 1997. In 2002 as an amateur player he won the 24th World Amateur Go Championship, with a clean sweep of victories in all eight games.
DuEm6: I can't be the only one who think it's cheating, right? So unsportsmanlike. It's one thing to participate in WAGC as a Chinese version of Insei, but an ex-pro? Come on. Even Inseis are not actually allowed, but the WAGC's SL page says the Chinese promotion system is different so they are not technically Inseis.
