My name is Joe Chan (firstian on KGS), I'm a beginner from the Boston area. I started playing go regularly on KGS around June 2003. My current KGS ranking is some where between 16k-14k. Right now, the most difficult part for me is learning how to conduct close combat effectively, and how to avoid really difficult local fights. (Other areas of my game sucks too, I just don't know enough to realize how bad they are :).
