Exclusive liberties

Exclusive liberties are liberties that belong exclusively to one side. They are the sum of the outside liberties, the eye liberties and non-shared internal liberties of a group.

The circled liberties are exclusive liberties for black, while those marked with a square are exclusive liberties for white. The points marked by a are shared liberties.
