It feels like forever since I last posted here. When I was fixing the archives it looked for a second like I hadn't posted since February. I couldn't believe that I hadn't posted in a month. Even though it's only been half a month it still feels like a very long time.

I'm still not very active in the Go scene. I haven't talked to Nanny Ogg or anyone else from Upper Valley Go Club in forever. About the only thing I've been doing (aside from painting miniatures, reading histories and re-designing my website) is playing on the Dragon Go Server.

There are a number of games that I've been making at least 2-3 moves in every day. Two games in particular were going very well. Both are well past the time when my opponents should have resigned, but apparently aren't going to. So I just patiently respond to their moves while I wait for the win.

Expect I messed up! I didn't read out a silly invasion and ended up losing a largish bit of territory. This is after dealing with a few silly speculative invasions. I'm upset at my opponent for continuing when she should resign, and I'm upset at myself for losing my concentration. I think I have here contained, and even though I lost maybe 10-20 points, I'm still well ahead.

So, I'm still playing Go, just not as much as I used to. Good thing Senseis has a Recent Changes page so that people don't have to visit this blog everyday to see if there's a new update.

I'm sure I'll be back on the Go Train again soon.
