Bosai Cup

(博賽杯) The Bosai Cup was an invitational tournament held in Chongqing, China in 2011. The competitors were Iyama Yuta, Yi Se-tol and Gu Li.

The tournament followed the same format as the previous year's "Super Meijin": two players are chosen to play first. The loser of that game plays the third player, and then the winner of that game plays the winner of the first game to determine the overall champion.

In the first round, Iyama beat Yi by resignation, then Gu beat Yi by resignation, then Iyama beat Gu by resignation, winning the tournament.

Some sources call it the "1st Bosai Cup", but there's no obvious evidence that it was held more than once.
