White's tenuki  

There are a few examples in pro games of White ignoring Black's cover play black+circle.

The first idea is B1, trying to take the whole corner. Some aji for White remains at a or b.

This choice of B1 was tried by Hashimoto Utaro. There is then a weakness at c that White might be able to exploit in later fighting.
