Way too hard to understand.

OGS has the following Fischer timing parameters (with defaults):

Initial time: 5 min Time increment: 30 sec Max time: 5 min

What do these parameters mean?

I observe that each player gets 5 min for each move, but I don't know if this is Initial time or Max time. Nor do I understand Time increment.
