I used to have a introductory book from Takagawa Kaku, no longer, however. He explained it there. Also look at Cardinal Direction on Coordinates. Backs it up as well. [ext] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Handicap_(go) almost has it, F and G flipped however.
