From Watched Pages:
"Adding a page is done by selecting the toggle watch option at the bottom of the page." - Is there any option to automatically add pages that i've edited? (on wikimedia, there is a checkbox allowing this if i want to enable such behaviour.)
"page is not shown in Recent Changes (highlight color would be orange) - useful if you don't want to be bothered by a certain page." - Well then, what would be the purpose of 'watching' said page(s) in the first place?! Also, "would be orange" - where exactly?
TY.
There are a lot of options for RecentChanges under UserPreferences, but these are normally hidden to not clutter the preferences needlessly.
To get all the options for Recent Changes, set your wiki experience level to "experienced SL deshi"
Pages that you have edited recently are automatically highlighted (in green). In the preferences for your Recent Changes view, they are called "Pages contributed". See also User Preferences / Help - Recent Changes.
Pages in WatchedPages category 3 are shown only if you change your preferences to show them, default is to hide them. If you do, they will be highlighted in orange on the RecentChanges page. By default, pages you put on your watchlist are in category 1.
