RueLue: A sub-TOC, which shows only the sub-headers of this chapter, down to the next sub-header of the same size could make sense. This is interesting for long pages with many sub headers like the KGS-wishlists. There could be some levels of sub-TOCs, e.g. show all of one level lower:

• %%SUBPAGES%%: show subpages (as now)
• %%TOC%%: show all headers (as now) (+link "edit all")
• %%TOC1%%: show all === down to next == (+link "edit chapter")
• %%TOC2%%: show all ==== down to next === (+link "edit chapter")
• %%TOC3%%: show all ==== and === down to next == (+link "edit chapter")
• %%TOC4%%: show all ==
• %%TOC5%%: show all == and ===
• %%TOC6%%: show all === and ====
