What's miai about this problem?
Of course, miai frequently occur in life and death problems and other problems. What's particularly miai-ish about this one?
Alex: Usually when you talk about a "miai problem," you'd be talking about a problem where the solution involves creating miai for the kill/for life. Here, it's the opposite - Black appears to have miai for life (capturing the stone on one side or the other, plus an eye in the corner) and the key to the problem is finding a way to get around that. I think that's what the page's original author meant, but I agree with you that the title is misleading.
