I don't understand why I had a sudden winning streak. from 19k I won almost all my games. exceptions are:

1 free game where I was stupidly giving stones away, putting my stones in atari, not reading...etc.

2 games vs a very strong player who knows the joseki that i was using by heart

1 game where I had to leave while winning by a huge margin with no chance for the opponent to come back.

that was it.

Ranking the probability table

"dont think so"th. Did the kgs rating system go crazy?

1st. was it the random SL page jumping?

5th. was it learning all the tesuji's?

3rd. was it the tsumego? (I did do about 550 + or - 200)

2nd. was it the constant stream of people ranking up through bots?

3428942nd. skill?

It definitely wasn't memorizing some of the joseki or watching strong players play because most of my games had been after all that.

am I ranting? If I am, sorry for making you read this. :l

Without seeing the games, I'm going to pick numbers 3 and 5. Tsumego always helps. Learning tesuji helps even more.

Also, some people advance very fast in ranks. If you keep winning all games, you haven't reached your true rank yet. I wish I had advanced as fast as you are. ;)
